Cool, another Wichita blogger! Peter, I bought a rain barrel at Lowe's. They were on sale so I thought it was a bargain. The problem is the sucker leaks! I will fix the leak but I thought about people who cannot fix things. This may be another good selling point for your barrels. I am glad to see that you are selling them well. I still need more barrels because 90 gallons go quickly after I water all the plants in my yard!
Well David, If I can help you out I would love the opportunity and I will guarantee that my Rain Barrels will not leak! With that being said we should hook up and admire each others gardens.
Hello Peter the RainBarrel Dude! Yes, I did visit your booth and admired the lovely paint jobs ~ but as a poor homesteader with an independent streak a mile wide, I am attempting to build my own rain barrels. I have barrels - just need to make them ready for rain. *ahem* I do believe I've missed collecting the last TEN INCHES or so. Ah well, there's always next time. Did you stop by the City of Wichita booth that was promoting rain barrels by passing out how-to sheets. Sadly, they had no local source for the actual barrels. There was a class at Bad Seed Market in Kansas City on building barrels. I'd love to know if you offered classes. :D
